Spiritual Leadership
Yeshua wanted to impart the spirit of Servanthood, a sense of identity and personal commitment. When Yeshua selected leaders, He ignored popular ideas of His day about what kind of person could fit the role. Yeshua's group was an unassuming group for world change. Instead Yeshua looked for a humbler sort of person, unspoiled by the sophistication of His day. Yeshua chooses from the ranks of laity and professionals to produce a unique blend of servanthood.
Worship
Yeshua did not Himself prescribe public worship for His disciples, no doubt assuming that their love for Yahweh would bring it about spontaneously, but He did seek to guard their worship from the merely outward and spectacular, and laid great emphasis on privacy and real “spirituality.”
